From the Beginning

 I married my high school sweetheart right here in Liberty Hill, Texas, and we’ve built our life (and a small zoo of three pups) just up the road in Georgetown.
I’ve been a professional hair and makeup artist for over six years, but my love for beauty started long before that. My mom, also a beauty guru— and my true inspiration — used to take me to photoshoots with her when I was a teenager, and I was instantly hooked. From there, I spent countless hours in my college dorm glued to YouTube, learning from Jaclyn Hill, Laura Lee, and Jeffree Star… and, of course, spending way too much at Sephora testing all their favorite products!

Faith is a big part of who I am — I truly believe God is the reason I’m here doing what I love. Outside of beauty, I’m a proud wife, daughter, sister, and “Auntie Hanny” to a bunch of nieces and nephews. One day, I hope to add “mom” to that list — but for now, I pour all my love into making brides feel their most beautiful and confident on one of the most special days of their lives.

Anyone who knows me knows I’ve tried just about every job out there. From waitress to nanny, dental assistant, you name it. I even tried my hand as a bail bondswoman (what an experience that was!). I never truly felt at home or passionate about what I was doing. It was always just a means to an end.

In 2019, I was freshly engaged, and as God would have it, my soon-to-be sister-in-law was best friends with a girl named Madison. Madison also happened to be the soon-to-be sister-in-law of a girl named Bailey (stick with me here!). Bailey and her sister Sierra had just started a bridal hair and makeup company, and one thing led to another, they connected us and I was one of their first artists to join their team. That was seven years ago, and now they’ve grown to about 20 stylists, performing approximately 250 weddings a year. (where I aspire to be in the future).

Being just as adventurous and free-spirited as they come, when I discovered I could do what I love full-time—that you just had to give it your all and not let anyone tell you otherwise—I dove headfirst and never looked back. I’ve been a full-time hair and makeup artist with them since 2020, and earlier this year, I felt the Lord nudging me to start my own team/company. I am blessed that I get to do what I love and help women around the world feel the most confident and beautiful weather that's for their wedding or just a date night with their hubby. I’m more than thrilled to link arms with Radiant and Soiree. I can't wait to see where the Lord takes us.

My signature is soft glam, I'd like to think I've mastered the art of making you look like you but glam. Picture yourself in the mirror and it's still you looking back but the most beautiful you've ever felt in your life. That's my jam!

Outside of my work, God has blessed me with the most beautiful nieces and nephews on the planet, truly they are the most beautiful babies you've ever seen, making me "Auntie Hanny." However, my ultimate life goal is to be a mom. I've dreamt of motherhood for as long as I can remember. When my baby sister was born, I was 10, and she truly became my very own baby doll. I dressed her, fed her, and she even slept with me—I was always pretending to be her mom. That desire has only intensified since I met my husband back in 2012. We are still trusting in God's perfect timing and plan, but I know that one day, I will be a mom. Until then you can find me roaming the isles of Target, Tj maxx, Sephora or the thrift store. (I love a good deal) I'm a pretty active person, my current obsession is hot Pilates. Matt and I love the outdoors and dream of one day having a homestead with tons of babies and animals.

My goal in life is to make a positive impact on my community. I aspire to be recognized as the go-to girl for expert tips and tricks in all things beauty. More importantly, I hope that by pursuing my passion, I can be a source of light for others. My prayer is that when you sit in my chair, any troubles you're facing will fade away, and you'll leave with a smile on your face.
